Project Conditions
Inlet water temperature: 42°C
Outlet water temperature: 32°C
Wet-bulb temperature: 28°C
Circulating water flow: 1,350 m³/h
Application Equipment
Cooling for kilns, air compressors, condensate water systems, and the lithium precipitation workshop.
Solution
A closed-circuit cooling tower with combined-flow heat exchange was used for stable and continuous cooling. The closed design helps keep the circulating fluid clean while reducing water consumption.
Operating Principle
The process fluid circulates inside the heat exchange coils. Spray water flows over the coil surface and exchanges heat with the air, removing heat through evaporation and lowering the fluid temperature.
Project Results
The system meets the cooling requirements at 1,350 m³/h, keeps the process fluid isolated from the cooling water, and reduces water and power consumption during continuous operation.
