Prevent Water from Escaping Your Tower
Our Eliminator Cooling Tower captures water droplets that would otherwise be carried toward the fan by airflow. Without an effective eliminator, water is lost, the ground becomes wet and slippery, and safety hazards increase. Our eliminator captures 99.5–99.9% of water droplets, resulting in a drift loss of only 0.0005–0.002%, compared to the national standard of 0.015%-7 to 30 times better. The Eliminator Cooling Tower is compatible with both cross-flow and counter-flow towers. Installed between the fill and the fan, air passes through S-shaped channels, causing water droplets to hit the walls and return to the tower.
High-Temperature Options for Industrial Applications
The standard material is PVC, suitable for -35°C to 70°C and with an oxygen index of 32, meaning it is non-flammable. For air temperatures above 70°C, use PP (up to 85°C). For very hot air up to 120°C, FRP is recommended. Blade spacing ranges from 20–30 mm; tighter spacing increases water capture but slightly reduces airflow. Recommended air velocity through the eliminator is 2.5–4.5 m/s, with a pressure drop of only 10–35 Pa per module, ensuring minimal additional fan load.
