The water temperature of a closed-circuit cooling tower can be adjusted from the following aspects:
### Adjusting the Fans
Fans accelerate airflow and promote heat dissipation. When the water temperature is too high, increase the number of operating fans or increase their speed to enhance heat exchange between the air and cooling water, thus lowering the water temperature. When the water temperature is low, reduce the number of operating fans or decrease their speed to avoid overcooling.
### Adjusting the Spray Water
Spray water cools the circulating water in the coils. When the water temperature is high, increase the spray water volume to improve the cooling effect; when the water temperature is low, reduce the spray water volume. At the same time, ensure the quality of the spray water to prevent scaling, which can affect cooling efficiency.
### Adjusting the Circulating Water Volume
By adjusting the flow rate of the circulating water pump, the residence time of the circulating water in the cooling tower can be changed. When the water temperature is high, appropriately reduce the circulating water volume to allow the water more time to dissipate heat within the tower; when the water temperature is low, increase the circulating water volume.
### Controlling Environmental Factors Minimize the presence of heat sources around the closed cooling tower and ensure good ventilation to maintain suitable ambient temperature and ventilation conditions, which is beneficial for water temperature regulation.
