1. The heat exchanger should not be deformed, and fasteners should not be loose or otherwise mechanically damaged.
2. When hoisting the equipment, the hoisting ropes must not be caught on the connecting pipes, positioning beams, or plates.
3. Sufficient space should be reserved around the heat exchanger for easy maintenance.
4. The inlet and outlet pipes for hot and cold media should be connected according to the direction specified on the manufacturer's nameplate.
5. Pipes connecting to the heat exchanger should be cleaned to prevent sand, welding slag, and other debris from entering the heat exchanger and causing blockages.
6. The heat exchanger should undergo a hydrostatic test at 1.5 times its maximum operating pressure. For the steam section, the pressure should not be lower than the steam supply pressure plus 0.3 MPa; for the hot water section, it should not be lower than 0.4 MPa.
