Regular Cleaning: Clean the heat exchanger plates every 3-12 months, depending on the scaling condition of the medium. Removable heat exchangers can be directly disassembled for cleaning. Brazed heat exchangers can be chemically cleaned or cleaned online. Use a neutral cleaning agent to avoid corroding the plates.
Gasket Maintenance: Regularly check the sealing performance of the gaskets. If aging, deformation, damage, or leakage is found, replace them with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) gaskets immediately. When replacing gaskets, clean any impurities from the plate sealing grooves to ensure a tight seal.
Operational Monitoring: Daily monitor the inlet and outlet temperatures, pressures, and flow rates of the equipment. If abnormal fluctuations occur (such as increased pressure, decreased flow, or reduced temperature difference), investigate the cause promptly to avoid overloading the equipment.
Plate Maintenance: Handle the plates gently during disassembly to avoid collisions or scratches that could deform them. If the plates show corrosion or damage, replace them immediately to prevent affecting the overall heat exchange efficiency and sealing performance.
Maintenance during downtime: When the equipment is to be shut down for an extended period of time, the internal fluids must be drained, the plates and channels cleaned, and the equipment dried and then sealed for storage to prevent plate corrosion and gasket aging.
